Vimpex, a leading UK manufacturer with over 20 years of fire industry experience, has launched a new range of water leak detection systems called Hydrosense. Hydrosense ID offers a new level of protection for critical data centre management suites and other vital equipment. Not only will it alert facilities managers to the imminent risk of water damage, but thanks to its sophisticated control system and the combination of outputs and control to third party products, it is capable of offering endless cause and effect solutions. For example, switching off water valves, sending alert texts or activating a voice alarm
Water leakage can cause significant damage to business, in fact, it is the costliest and most common claim made by commercial customers to insurance companies. Hydrosense is designed to prevent water damage and has the potential to save businesses thousands.
Hydrosense leak detection systems are designed to protect areas where water leakage could seriously damage electrical, communication and computer networks. It continuously monitors for water leaks around the clock, year in year out and has the facility for 24 hour battery standby in the event of power failure. Should a leak be detected the control panel sounds an alarm which can be extended to a remote location. When an alarm is raised, HydroCryerTM voice sounders can be used to broadcast an unambiguous message, avoiding confusion with other sounders on site.
