UCLan helping Middle East organisations create a safer working environment

UCLan PROTECT is currently supporting Oil Tanking Star Energy Dubai in the continuing development of Incident Command training. This training is being delivered by experienced ex senior UK Fire Officers, supported by the University of Central Lancashire’s well established fire and science department in the UK.
UCLan has and continues to reach into both industrial, commercial and educational areas worldwide. Within the region for example UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia. Other worldwide activities also include, China, Hong Kong, Ghana and many more.

Now the University has launched its UCLan-PROTECT range of emergency training, as they aim to make UCLan the number one place for Resilient Organisations and Total Emergency Capability Training.

UCLan-Fire
The University offers one of the most extensive ranges of fire based courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level within the education sector. The courses have been developed in collaboration with fire brigades and other key stakeholders to produce innovative courses.
The University recognises the specialist health and safety requirements of potentially high risk oil and gas industries. In response, it has launched BEng / MEng programmes in Oil and Gas Safety Engineering the courses provide a knowledge of the fundamentals of safety engineering; practical experience in the use of state-of-the-art techniques for the study of safety engineering systems, together with an understanding of the necessary scientific, engineering and technological principles specific to the oil and gas industry.
