Polish vehicle for South Korean Fire Brigade

WISS – Special Vehicle Engineering – from Poland has manufactured and delivered a specialist vehicle for the most demanding chemical rescue and firefighting missions to the South Korean Fire Brigade in Seoul.

The rescue and firefighting vehicle from Poland will serve to secure chemical plants in Seoul as well as Seoul Incheon Airport (ICN) thanks to its close proximity.

This vehicle is built on a Mercedes Arocs 3358 6×4 chassis with integrated water and foam tanks. The water tank can hold 9000 litres, while the foam tank 1200 litres.

In addition, there are two cannons to deliver the extinguishing agents – a roof cannon with
a capacity of 6000/3000l/min, while the bumper cannon has a capacity of 1,200l/min.

It’s also equipped with an E100 Ruberg pump with power up to 10,000l/min, Ruberg Dual RFS system, compressed foam Ruberg CAFS 50, the Gloria 250kg powder system and a sprinkler system under the chassis.

The vehicle has been built to the individual requirements of the Korean fire department and prepared according to the specifications received from the client.
