Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI), the global leader for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, today announced it has acquired Nu-Form Fire, a leading provider of sprinkler systems in England and Wales.
Based in Bury, England, Nu-Form Fire specialises in the design, procurement and installation of a full range of fire sprinkler systems. The company provides a range of fire suppression solutions including sprinkler, deluge, water spray and foam.
Nu-Form has strong client relationships with commercial and industrial clients across a diverse range of sectors including warehousing, food, manufacturing production and special hazards.
The new acquisition further enhances Johnson Controls’ Fire Suppression offering across multiple customer segments thanks to Nu-Form’s high-level knowledge in supplying fire sprinkler solutions to multiple markets. Furthermore, as an LPCB Level 4 approved contractor, Nu-Form Fire carries the highest level of certification achievable within the industry, and is permitted to self-certificate all categories of work under the LPS 1048 scheme, without supervision.
‘We’re really excited to welcome the Nu-Form team to the Johnson Controls family and look forward to sharing our joint successes,’ said Sarah Dixon, General Manager Fire Suppression UK & Ireland at Johnson Controls. ‘Nu-Form has built a strong presence in the sprinkler market and is a trusted and well-respected brand. The company’s capabilities are the perfect complement to our current Suppression portfolio, and I’m confident they’ll make a superb addition to the business.’
‘I am delighted that Nu-Form is now part of Johnson Controls,’ said David Carswell, Sales Director for Nu-Form Fire UK. ‘Our business ethos aligns perfectly, giving us the opportunity to be even better placed to deliver first-class service with our clients and supply chain – while still operating the “Nu-Form Way”.
