Our client
Courtyard by Marriott is one of the world’s top hotel brands, which opened its first branch in Tashkent on the eve of 2021. The hotel offers 131 rooms, five multifunctional conference halls, two restaurants, The Ugolyok Terrace and two bars with European and national cuisine, as well as a swimming pool and a fitness centre.
Our challenges
- Meet Marriott’s 14 Standard.
- Installation corresponding with NFPA 72, 92 Fire Safety Codes together with local fire safety requirements (SHNK).
- Final acceptance & approval by Marriott’s Fire Protection Team and Uzbekistan Civil Defense (MCHS).
Our solution
At this location of Courtyard by Marriott, MTech utilized more than ten MA-1000 – MTech’s analogue addressable fire-alarm control panels, (UL864 10th Edition Signaling Listed) in a full network, together with MTech’s analogue addressable smoke detectors, (MA-320) that were installed on an addressable sounder base, in every room according to Marriott’s Module 14.
Dumpers, flow and tamper switches, fire doors, lifts and the emergency generator are fully monitored by MTech’s intelligent devices.
All fire-alarm control panels, UUKL smoke management systems and the fire extinguishing control panels are connected to an integrated network system (class A), which is monitored directly by MTech’s S-BMS (Safety Building Management Software) – MA-Monitoring.
Complex scenarios for managing security and life-support systems are implemented at the facility. In particular, the integrated fire safety system monitors and manages fire detection/extinguishing/evacuation and smoke management systems, according to the following NFPA codes:
- Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems (NFPA 13)
- Fire Alarm System (NFPA 72)
- Smoke and HVAC Control Management System (NPFA 92)
