Battalion Chief (ret) Sue Tarantino BS, MBA Sue is a retired 27-year veteran of the Charlotte (NC) Fire Department. Sue served as a Battalion Commander for 12 years, during which time she supervised the operations of the hazardous materials company. She is currently a Division Chief with Industrial Emergency Services (IES) and Assistant Manager of Marine Operations. She also serves as a senior fire protection specialist with World Safe International, LLC teaching flammable liquids firefighting and performing consulting work in storage tank facilities and other industrial complexes.
