As a career fire officer, which included the role of operational Hazmat Advisor, Derek went on to become Head of the Specialist Hazardous Materials Team and Senior Instructor at the Fire Service College, Moreton in Marsh in the UK. For many years Derek has been involved in developing training solutions for Government Agencies and the Industrial Sector in many parts of the world with a primary focus in the GCC region on behalf of the Fire Service College, a role that continues today. Derek Luff is CEO of 3action Ltd, a UK based company with offices in Saudi Arabia and Singapore. 3action provides emergency response development consultancy and design as well as the build and supply of fire and Hazmat operational training simulators.
