Colin Walker is Fire Safety Manager for Ilec Ltd. Due to his professional knowledge and experience in fire safety gained from over 30 years in the industry, he is a key person regarding solution finding for special applications. He has served with the Royal Air Force Fire Service during which time he spent 5 years with The Queens Flight providing firefighting and fire safety services to the Royal family and VVIP’s. After leaving the RAF Colin was employed as the Fire Safety specialist for a housing association and introduced innovative solutions to monitoring fire safety systems as well as involving residents and staff in the development of new fire safety policies. Colin also worked on the Fire Sector Electrical Sub Group with Electrical Safety First, CFOA, London Fire Brigade and chaired by MP Jim Fitzpatrick to provide improvements to BS 7671 Electric Wiring Regulations (UK)
